Do you know the legal consequences of your actions or inaction? Or worse yet, what if it happens in your home or office? Attend this hands-on seminar to learn the latest information on effectively providing emergency help in serious and life-threatening situations. In this thorough, but practical course, District Chief Iggy Rosales, a critical care paramedic and registered nurse, will review medical emergencies, medications, laws, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to help keep you calm and effective in practically any emergency situation in the office, out in public, or at home.
- Laws governing emergency situations.
- How to properly respond to medical emergencies, including appropriate treatment modalities.
- CPR for adults, children, and infants.
- Use of AEDs in medical emergencies.
Speaker Bio: District Chief Iggy Rosales has been in the fire service, a critical care paramedic, and emergency room registered nurse over 33 years. He is an instructor with the American Heart Association and American Safety & Health Institute providing courses in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and pediatric life support (PALS).
