Course Description:  This presentation encompasses several aspects of current periodontal therapy including pocket elimination, utilizing both resective and regenerative techniques, functional and esthetic crown lengthening, root amputation, and soft tissue grafting. There is a focus on etiology, indications, and treatment.

Learning Objectives:   

  1. Diagnose periodontal conditions and know when active therapy is indicated.
  2. Understand how the procedures are performed and why they are performed in such a fashion.
  3. Be able to clearly explain the etiology of the different periodontal conditions to your patients.
