Course Description:  nejat picZirconia has become a popular restorative material in dentistry. New technologies are being developed to improve the esthetics of the restorations and different generations of Zirconia have been introduced to fulfill different needs. Understanding the basic properties of each of the generations and how the phases of Zirconia and sintering process can affect the optical and mechanical properties of Zirconia will help clinicians decide on the most appropriate restorative material to be used for each individual case. Moreover, can we really bond to Zirconia? If so, what are the correct steps and materials to bond a Zirconia crown, inlay, onlay, or veneer?
