Dr. Alan Jeroff
Dr. Alan Jeroff is a general dentist in full-time private practice in Vancouver, BC, Canada and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry. He graduated from the University of Manitoba Dental School in 1977, completed a mini-residency in Oral Surgery at the University of the Paciﬁc Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA and has been a clinical tutor at the University of Otago School of Dentistry in Dunedin, New Zealand. He is an active participant in study clubs, an examiner of undergraduate dental students, and interviews candidates for admission into the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Dentistry DMD program. Alan’s breadth of experience spanning over four decades has gained him an international reputation as a quality speaker and workshop presenter. He lectures widely on Oral Surgery at national and international conferences. In addition to travelling to underdeveloped countries to do volunteer dentistry, Alan is an aviation enthusiast and an IFR commercial pilot with more than 2500 ﬂight hours in different types of aircraft including gliders and T34 training jets. He currently volunteers as a Medi-Vac /Air Ambulance pilot for an organization called Angel Flight, which ﬂies patients to cancer treatments at various cancer centers in British Columbia.
