Transportation/Parking
For 2012 Conference: Parking (NO Shuttles)
There are numerous indoor and outdoor parking lots close to the Convention Center, including one adjacent to the Center on the East side (Hilton’s lot). There are no shuttles for speakers, participants or exhibitors.
There
is one parking lot adjacent to the New Orleans Morial Convention Center and numerous
indoor and outdoor parking lots close by. Those who use nearby hotel
parking have an easy walk.
Parking near the Convention Center is available at the Fulton Street
Garage at 901 Convention Center Boulevard and at the Riverwalk at 800
Convention Center Boulevard. The
Convention Center has NO parking of its own.
Park only in legal spaces (more than 20 feet from any curb) on surrounding city
streets or you may be ticketed and towed!
Taxis are often available from hotels in the area. Please check with
the concierge of your hotel.
Streetcar
lines run on St. Charles, Canal and Riverfront. Fares are $1.25 and you must
