Predictable Complete Dentures and Implant Over Dentures
This presentation will cover the most important aspects of complete dentures and implant retained over dentures and why unsuccessful cases are generally a result of an inadequate assessment and poor esthetic analysis. Helpful tips to eliminate this situation will be detailed. Procedures and tips for predictable results of complete, immediate, and implant retained dentures will be discussed. Several cases will be detailed utilizing these procedures and tips to bring practitioners up to current methods.
Course Objectives:
· Illustrate how to make impressions for totally, partially, and immediate edentulous patients.
· Illustrate how to make impressions for implant retained over denture patients.
· Describe a reline procedure for both edentulous and implant over dentures.
· Describe a method of direct implant pick up.
