Cosmetic Pearls for the General Practitioner
This course is designed to help practitioners in the process of converting their practices to include more cosmetic dental procedures. This lecture gives many tips and hints on how to do cosmetic dentistry more efficiently and better. Many suggestions are included on what to do when things go wrong. This presentation begins with reviewing basic adhesive techniques while explaining a unique method of microdentistry, and then continually builds on knowledge gained from each successive and more complex subject. Dr. Zase brings a unique teaching foundation for the many topics and techniques discussed in this presentation.
Course Objectives:
· The mini - prep for restoring incipient lesions.
· Opaquing, adhesive, and reparative techniques with composite and porcelain.
· To hide or disguise porcelain and composite margins.
· To eliminate all post - op sensitivity with bonding procedures.
· How to do near zero sensitivity bleaching at home and in office.
· To utilize ovate pontics to make natural looking bridges.
· Smile design principles.
· To be more confident in tackling cosmetic restorations.
· To be more comfortable presenting cosmetic treatment plans.
