Oraqix: Needle-free Anesthesia
The presentation will encompass many different ideas regarding root planning/scaling for hygienists. Focus will be around a local non-injectable anesthetic that the hygienists can administer chair side. We will also review other products that will assist hygienists in their day to day job such as an insert that allows them to work with implants.
Objectives:
· Educate hygienists how to administer local anesthesia in periodontal pockets during scaling and/or root planning
· The chemistry behind the Oraqix
· Review Root scaling/planning products
· Review Implant Insert for scaling implants
