Preserving Esthetic Excellence: The Minimal Intervention Approach to Oral Health Maintenance

In an unfavorable oral environment, even the most excellent esthetic treatment outcomes are at risk for premature failure. This presentation will provide dentists and hygienists with the most current tools for establishing and maintaining optimal oral environments for your esthetic artistry. Topics include effective evidence-based protocols for caries risk assessment and management, reversal of white spot lesions by remineralization with calcium, phosphate, and fluoride, and using current adhesive technologies in synergy with non-invasive therapies for minimally invasive, maximally preservative esthetic restorative procedures.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES/BENEFITS TO ATTENDEES:

1. Understanding the medical model of caries management.

2. Learning protocols for non-invasive reversal of white spot lesions.
3. Learning strategies for combining adhesive technologies and oral environment optimization to enhance esthetic treatment outcomes.
