ACCREDITATION FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION

The New Orleans Dental Conference & LDA Annual Session provides one hour of credit for each hour of lecture.

NOTE:  This is a new method of providing continuing education credit.

For Louisiana dentists, hygienists and technicians: A unique code number will be provided for each course.  The first half of the code will be provided prior to the start of the lecture and the final half will be provided upon the conclusion of each session.  You should record that code on your continuing education form next to the corresponding lecture.  The unique code number will verify attendance and serve as your CE credit.

For attendees from other states:  During the conference, a conference official may be able to sign and stamp the code number on a continuing education sheet, which is available upon request from the room monitor.  Please refer any additional requests to the CE desk, which will be located at the Registration Desk.  After the conclusion of the Conference, NO other verification of attendance will be available.  Upon request, the listing of course code numbers will be furnished to your state board.

The New Orleans Dental Association, Inc. and the Louisiana Dental Association are ADA CERP recognized providers.

ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education.  ADA CERP does not approve or endorse indivudual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.

For AGD members, a special form may be picked up from the Room Monitor at the conclusion of the lecture or go to the Registration Area.

The form should be mailed to:  Dental Education Service Assistant
                                             Academy of General Dentistry
