With continual improvements in technology and an ever present but increasing requirement for precise fitting restorations, dentistry today is changing in the direction of utilizing technology for precise, esthetic restorations. This also affects dental laboratories and how restorations able to meet these requirements are fabricated. Attend this course to learn about how these techniques affect the dental laboratory and fabrication of their restorations. Now, digital impressions and corresponding digital models, advancements in CAD/CAM technology and new materials allow precise fitting esthetic restorations to be fabricated that can duplicate natural dentition.

Course Objectives - upon completion of this course, attendees will have a better understanding of:
  • The technology behind and use of digital impressions and models.
  • The use of CAD/CAM technology to fabricate restorations and implant abutments.
  • Advancements in materials and processes to allow fabrication of esthetic restorations.
