The LDA House of Delegates, comprised of 76
voting members, is the ultimate policy-setting body of the Louisiana
Dental Association. As such, it speaks for the entire membership.
The
members of the House are elected by the nine components of the LDA.
The allocation of delegates is made proportionally on the basis of
membership distribution. Since the House of Delegates ordinarily meets
only once a year, it is obvious that many important issues must be
considered and decisions made at each meeting of the House. All LDA
members are welcomed and encouraged to observe the activities of the
House. Delegates receive two non-clinical C.E. credits.
