Have you ever thought about the relationship between the surgical and restorative aspects of dental implants? Perhaps as a result of an unfavorable final outcome or angulation and how did that affect your restoration? Although implant placement may seem straightforward, there are many factors that can and sometimes do alter their placement. If you want a better understanding between implant placement, esthetics, correct engagement of internal connections and available restorative options, attend this hands on workshop. During this workshop, you will place an implant into a mandible model and utilize various restorative prosthetics to demonstrate the relationship between surgical and restorative processes while keeping an emphasis on emergence profile and esthetics.

Course Objectives - upon completion of this course, attendees will have a better understanding of:
  • The full restorative process to achieve ideal esthetics.
  • Proper implant platform depth.
  • Platform switching.
  • The intricacies of the relationship between surgical and restorative processes.
  • Synergy between implant placement and emergence profile.
  • Correct engagement of internal connection and placement of internal hex implants.
