It is associated with obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, increased risk of heart attack, stroke, memory/performance problems, depression and higher accident rates. Snoring, one of the symptoms of OSA, is present in more than a third of the population.This presentation will help clinicians understand the systemic and oral health implications of sleep disturbances as well as the surgical and dental management of the condition. This presentation covers a broad range of areas from introductory to advanced educational levels.
