Course Description: This is an outstanding and entertaining hands-on course designed especially for assistants to expand their abilities and keep easy denture repairs in the office. With the use of plaster models and duplicated resin partial dentures, the participants will learn how to add a denture tooth to the denture, how to extend the posterior portion of a denture to cover the retromolar pad area, and how to attach a wrought wire clasp for an abutment tooth. A Power Point presentation will guide the class in these steps, show how to duplicate a denture, and other tips to aid in developing an in-house denture lab.
