Ronald C. Auvenshine, DDS, PhD -- New speaker to our conference
Dr. Auvenshine (Houston, TX), is a graduate of Baylor University with a BA degree in Chemistry (’66). He is also a graduate of Emory University School of Dentistry (’71) and earned a PhD in Human Anatomy from LSU Medical School in 1976. In addition to his private practice, he is the Founder and Director of the Orofacial Pain Clinic at DeBakey V.A. Hospital in Houston. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Texas, Dental Branch Houston. He lectures nationally and internationally, and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of the Texas Dental Association. Dr. Auvenshine has served on the Council on Membership for the American Dental Association and is Past-President of the Greater Houston Dental Society. He is also a Past-President of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and is a founding member of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. After a successful 40 years in private practice, Dr. Auvenshine retired in December 2018.
