The NEW ORLEANS DENTAL CONFERENCE & LDA ANNUAL SESSION is planned by a host of volunteer dentists from the New Orleans and Louisiana Dental Associations. This annual dental convention dates back to 1948. Hurricanes Ivan (2004) and Katrina (2005) disrupted the annual event and influenced the decision to move the convention from the fall to spring. The 2018 edition of this conference will highlight a departure from the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. For the first time in two decades, the Conference returns to a hotel setting so that hotel rooms, meeting rooms, Exhibit Hall, restaurants, and gathering places are conveniently located under one roof. The Memorial Day weekend in New Orleans features popular events such as Bayou Country SuperFest, the Wine and Food experience, and the Greek Fest.
At this 3-day conference, we focus on providing attendees with a value for their continuing education dollar. Reduced registration fees and nominal charges for continuing education sessions allow attendees the ability to customize their goals based on time available and budgets. For dentists and team members seeking an economical source of continuing dental education, this is your meeting. For those seeking information and training from the industry's premier speakers on "hot" topics, that's available too. Against the backdrop of a fun festival weekend, the New Orleans Dental Conference & LDA Annual Session offers a great opportunity for learning, fine dining, and fun. It's among the most unique of experiences.
Continuing education sessions will be highly staggered to allow each attendee to customize a schedule that fits one's goals, while still allowing time to visit the Exhibit Hall or enjoy the sights and sounds of New Orleans.
